Sub Zero's Head Rip of course.. Not because Sub Zero rips off a head.. but because he rips the head off and the spine!! How bad ass is that!

I say that nothing beats Venom's finisher from Guilty Gear X. He sets up a mid-air mess of billiard balls, turns his opponent into a cue ball, and sends 'em flying through the whole shebang.

I also dig May's "death move" from the original Guilty Gear, where she lets her foe ride a wave of fanciful rainbows and cavorting dolphins . . . straight to oblivion.

Recognize this stage? For those of you who don't remeber, this stage is the bell tower level on Mortal Kombat 3. It's also the site for a stage fatality. After performing the right sequence, a player was able to uppercut their opponent into the air and have them fall through five wooden floors of the tower into a basement of spikes!

Best finishing Moves would have to be from the MK series.
Johnny cage's body Rip, Jax's Arm Rip and head crush, Scorpions Body Slice, Kung Lao's hat Slice, Sub Zero's ice grenade and Shang Sung's Soul Stealer and possesion move from MK2 >:(

Overall, MK2 wins the contest. Jax' arm rip, Kung Lao hat slice, and Jax' "Story of Riki"-esque head clap are just the best.

However, there's something to be said for Quan Chi's MK4 fatality: rip off the opponent's leg and beat them with it. Endlessly.

I always enjoyed the whole uppercut-into-ceiling-spikes stage fatality from MK2 (the reverse of the Bell Tower mentioned above.) I came close to wetting myself the first time that I saw that happen with the body slipping off only to *thud* on the floor. Excellent.

Shang Tsung's rainbow friendship from mk2. The last national tournament for the game in chicago last june had the winner using him, and the last match did that instead of the finisher ;p
