A question on Game Gear games in the Sonic Mega Collection +

Did these games sound really that bad originally on the Game Gear? I never played any game gear games. Also why in the F*** do publishers have to make a chore to unlock games? Just give me Flicky and Comic Zone. I paid for it!

Is it just like the Cube verison? Play the games 20 times a piece?

As for the Game Gear games, I'd rather have a copy of Sonic Adventure DX (all 12 are there, but it's a chore to get them all)...yet the sound on those port were excellent to the original games

According to a couple of websites: To unlock Flicky you need to play Mean Bean 20 or 30 times. To unlock C. Zone, you need to seem to have Sonic Heroes game save file. If that is true, then that not fair to the gamers who won't play save crappy game. Just give me the games! On side note: The new Ratchet and Clank is a blast!

I hate when they make you unlock the games. I find it annoying, unfair, and a waste of my time.

on a side note, how come sega hasn't included Sonic CD, the greatest of the 16 bit sonic games, on either Mega Collection or Mega Collection +??

I know Sonic CD would take up 1/3 of a gamecube disk, but seeing as how the largest sonic cart is like 24 megabits I don't think that would be a problem.

Maybe they'll give us that for the Xbox version of "Sonic Mega Collection + +" LOL

It sure would be nice to have Sonic CD on there though, it's my favorite one. They should also give you the option to play with the Japanese or the US soundtrack.
