Any events soon or soon-ish in the Chicago area? [Archive]

I have never been to any of these events, but I am ready to start. Does anyone know when any of these are going on in the Chicagoland area, preferably the suburbs? I prefer events where I can trade/sell my games with other gamers, that sort of thing. Thanks.

Curntley Atari Video Club is planning to hold it's 3rd show in july 2 weeks after the 4th. right now we are curently in talks with the guys who did
the video game develope summit in sept of this year ( http://www.vgdsummit.com ) to see if they are willing to join up with our show. so as of now everything is up in the air depends on the response from VGD Summit guys.

the show usally takes place about 1 or so after July 4th.
first show was july 12th,2003 second show july 17th,2004
Third show I'm hoping for july 16th .
hope that clearifies it.
