I picked this game up today at Meijer* (I was very surprised to see it out...) and have been able to put some time into it. I Must say, this is a very fun game. The gameplay is very similar to the N64 version, with the major difference being the amount of fun minigames. I especially like the "Fight Mecha-Bowser!" game. In short, go buy this. NOW.

*Meijer is having a buy-1-get-1-half-off sale today on all games, but today only. I also picked up the new Kirby for the GBA for $15ish, a very good deal indeed.

No, it really doesn't... Top Spin may be the best Tennis Game ever created, but it doesn't stand up to the best Tennis Game that isn't realistic and boring. Mario Tennis 64!

I can't wait for this game, Even though I'll have to force myself away from Halo 2 to get it...

mmm, Mario Tennis. I played the hell out of that for 64... one of the only reasons i'd dig the system out.

The cast of characters... I'm not sure exactly how many there are. I'm thinking 16ish, plus hidden ones. I've unlocked one so far, but it's a stupid "flying" variant on another (and it's not a koopa).

I've had the game for the longest time and have to say i love it, can't wait for the other mario sports game that are being released in the next couple months such as mario baseball and eventually mario striker

I snagged it at Blockbuster's 50% off sale last month. Haven't played it yet, but I enjoyed the hell out of the demo.

Has Mario Baseball actually been confirmed for release? All I've seen is a screenshot, and that was months ago.
