There is no room left in the market at this time for a "surprise game" that hasn't already been overhyped and excessively previewed.

OH! I forgot 2 more great games. The Sly Cooper series. These games are awesome. I played a small demo for the first one about a year ago and I thought it was fun. Then I rented Sly 2 the other day and wow what a game. Extremely fun. The gameplay is excellent and I personally think that the story was done in a very cool way.

I bought the new Lord Of The Rings RPG last night. It's turn-based, with switchable party members as in FFX. This game is awesome. You can keep your Halo 2. This game, Gran Turismo 4 and Star Wars Battlefront is all that I need.

Katamari Damacy. Even though it got last-minute hype from all the mags and websites, it's still a surprise when a game about rolling up objects to save the stars in the sky ends up being good.

Holy crap. There are 6 of those horrible games. I always thought they were so pointless and boring, oh well.
