From the four corners of the web I've gathered a 4-port Atari 5200 system, 5 standard refurbished controllers (refurbished by me: "I command you to rise from the grave and--" wait, wrong system), a pair of Wico Command Control joysticks (one works perfectly, one is about to get refurbished by my foot), and Sean Kelly's fabulous multicart, all as a Christmas gift for my wife, who had a 5200 back in the day. It's the only VG system she has any nostalgic feelings about. I never had one myself, but I did have an Atari 130 XE computer, now long lost. Thus, I suspect that in the end I'll end up playing it more than she does, for the pull of Star Raiders and Qix is very strong!

Anyway, as I mentioned, it's a four-port system. I hear that Super Breakout has a four-player mode, and furthermore that it is the only game to offer a four-player mode. Can anybody tell me whether this is truly the case?

RS Tennis also has a four player mode I believe. The 5200 Asteroids prototype also supports four players.

The new Combat 2 game has 4 player support as well.

What about Decathlon?

AFAIK all the players use the same controller. But it does support four players.
