Ultima 1 (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=62053&item=8141005984&rd=1). I'm not sure if anyone's gonna bid on it or not at that price but it is a rarity.
This infocom Collection (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=62053&item=8141002699&rd=1) on the otherhand is just hopeful thinking for a jewelcase only copy.
The Monkey Island Collection (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=62053&item=8144329168&rd=1) will fetch a pretty penny when all is said and done.

I'm not sure if Ultima 1 is really worth all that money...I saw one some months back fetch a very pretty penny, and I believe I saw this one as well...but...it just doesn't seem RIGHT paying that much money for the game. Low print run, sure, but look, I've seen a sealed one and this one on eBay. More than I can say for other games I know have small print runs as well.

I don't know Ultima that well, but the price $600 is just beyond usual. I think it's a $200-$300 item. I sold a loose disk for $100 of that version. Almost wish I'd kept it.

$600 is what a sealed copy should pull down, yeah.

I have that Infocom game and it is pretty slick, one of the few rare games that is actually worth over $100 for play value alone...

I'm kinda lost here. Why were the first two auctions only BIN, and the Monkey Island one a regular bidding auction? Did they think that MI would fetch more money than the others? Did they not know what kind of value it held? Or am I missing something here?
