i somehow managed to fit in my entertainment cabinet a 5 disc DVD player a 19 inch tv, then a shelf ( which is a few cm. off the front pegs)it was a tight squeeze. THEN i i got the XBOX and PS2 on the shelf and i got the xbox between the shelf and the bottom of top shelf by 1 CENTIMETER. then on the top shelf is a SNES, GameCube.and my 5 game switch box. got everything in there with a whole centimeter to spare ( what shall i use it for.)

the next spot to the left heres what i got going,
bottom shelf 2 speaker radio AM FM and duel cassette, the next shelf up is my atari video pinball, telestar arcade , sx-202 atari modem( all in the box MINT) and the topper is the 100 atari 2600 folded up boxes in a shoe box. on the top shelf next to the SNES,is 2 grey 15 cart storage cases, and on top of the 2 stacked up on that is the 16 Large PS1 games

I AM THE MASTA of the storage entertainment systems bring me your stuff and ill cram it all in

Pffft that aint sheet.

I have ONE entertainment center holding all of this. Oh mind you there only one shelf with 4 levels.

One Xbox (Viewtifull Joe Now resids on top of it), two Sega Saturns, a Goldstar 3DO ( A Globe Clock on top of it) and a Sega Genesis Sega CD (Both model 2)32x combo on top.

The 25 inch tv with 4 switch boxes on top. Next to the TV is a PSX and a Toaster NES.

On the shelf above the TV sits my amp a Gamecube and a sport DC along with my multitap adapters for my SAT and GEN.

In my shelf area first ledge sits my DvD player, 5 disc cd changer and my Equalizer. Ledge 2 sits my N64 and Snes (Barley fits). Third ledge sits my PS2 and 2600 vader. And on the bottom ledge sits the TG-16.

Oh yeah Under my TV there is a compartment were I stuffed some blankets. O_O

i got 2 sets of doors under where the dvd tv radio lay but i havent desided what to store there yet. i have a hutch here that stores spare 2600s that just collect dust. but im sure ill find something manageable to stick there. ill have to think about what i want to toss in there. what ever it is it MUST be game related.
im just amazed i got everything in there with 1 centimeter or less of space

i run out off space in my entertainment unit long time ago, now i just get one of those ikea shelfs(you can add as many shelf/levels,simply stack them up on top of each other(one set comes with 5 levels), they hold a decent amount of weight too.

I live in a tiny studio loft and store a lot of my games several states away.

Those I have I store under my huge bed, in a hutch, and on top of my kitchen shelves (it actually looks nice.) You can't tell I'm a gamer when you walk in except for the DC and Saturn hooked up to the TV

I'm building some custom shelving soon, though, and get rid of my huge-ass bed.

Cheers

I just recently bought a couple of big, plastic shelves from Lowes to store my consoles on. They aren't pretty and they're a little too big, but they were quick to assemble, didn't need paint, and cost about the same as building custom shelves was going to cost me.

They are on the right there.

I'm still trying to seek out the perfect shelf for consoles... Ikea has a neat shelf, the "Enetri", that I think would work, but I'm not about to drive 5 hours to the nearest store for a $50 bookshelf (that they want $60 to ship).

I use a 80 DVD tower for my current-gen games and DVDs, a bookcase for my boxed atari, intellivision and SMS games, and 6 modular shoeholder bookcase type things from target for my NES and loose SMS / Genesis games. The shoe things are the same exact hieght as an NES cart and run underneth my living room window.

Then, of course, I have the huge mess of an entertainment system that I am sure everyone here suffers from.

For Genesis games, I use shoeboxes. Have to be the right dimensions, and while some boxes will fit tabs-on games, most I've run across are too small for that.

As far as consoles go, I just have a bunch sitting on this one table and flat consoles get something put on top...there's something on top of my PlayStation right now, for example.

For x68K/other computer stuff I use stackable professional-ish plastic file cabinets. I can store games two deep, spines facing up, and it's a pretty good fit.

12 systems on one entertainment center...all hooked up to the tv. There are a lot more if you count the haldhelds and the virtual boy on the top.
