Fable 1.01

According to this site fablemod.com some people have put together a save file that changes fable.

Here is the info on it:

Fable 1.01 is an all out game play save. You can hunt for Leviathan buried treasure (with hints to find it strung all across Albion), you can find the Sword Of Aeons, the Harvester (most powerful ranged weapon), and many other hidden things. You can hire body guards (like Maze, Scythe, Thunder and a few others). Also, there's MANY more enemies to fight. It much harder. There's other little things here and there that you can check out as well, like Fatum's statue.

Ok, you can now download the saves via the main page at www.fablemod.com in the "Game Saves" section. Enjoy.

PS. Fable 1.01 is still being tested and wont be out until this weekend. Later everybody!

I currently do not own an action reply and I am not sure its worth spending 30-40 dollars on it for this download to work.

Not sure if you guys were familair with it. I had additional questions that I posted to their site but nobody has answered them


1. Do you need a modded XBOX in order to use the Fable 1.01 save file or will any XBOX work?

2. Is there any potential risks of using the Fable 1.01 save file that could cause problems with your XBOX?

3. I was reading through the steps to save the Fable 1.01 to your Action Reply Memory Card then you have to boot up your XBOX with the tray open to copy your personal save files over to the action reply , then you delete your save files from your XBOX, then you copy your save files with the Fable 1.01 save file back to your XBOX. So does the file change my personal save files or is the Fable 1.01 save file its own save file that starts you at the beginning of the game?

4. Do my personal save files change too?

The only way I could put it on my XBox, unless I buy something, is to go online and download it with my XBox. :(

You can umodded/modded

There are e anumber of ways but the main one is make a USB.>Xbox lead

Then copy the stuff over and enjoy :) if ure modded try FTP'ing the info or using xbox save game manager

Nope, mine is not modded. I just have the XBox Live subscription and the cable to reach from my router to my XBox. ;)

I'll check the link out later, though.

Speaking of which, over on the Xbox forums there's supposedly confirmation that Fable will get a content download, despite the fact that it's not "Enabled" as such. Seems reasonable since Battlefront has a confirmed new map coming, although it's not "Enabled" either.

I thought the box had the "enabled" box checked. I only remember because I thought it was funny since Peter Molyneux basically said hell no to downloadable content in one of our xbox magazines.
