I have many NES multicarts from Japan (all US compatible), ranging from my 6in1 Caltron to 111 in one carts. (none for sale!!)

Since there are so many companies and god knows how many out there, how can you value them?

I found the Caltron at a flea market for $5... but I've seen it for much more on eBay! The others though...?

Multicarts are based more off of personal value then any real cost. I mean, do you injoy the games on them, or is it just a bunch of crap?

The Caltron/Myriad 6 in 1 is an actual US release, it's part of the collection of US NES Games, and very rare at that...so it's hard to find a sells for a lot.

The average price of a common pirated NES/Famicom mulitcart is anywhere from 20.00-50.00 depending on what games are on it. They have no rarity value or set price value because they are illegally pirated cartridges.

I actually enjoy playing them! It's much easier than finding the game from my shelves, and I don't have to get up for hours! LOL

If you don't mind me asking, at which flea market did you happien to find these carts? I i'm also from massachutes and wouldn't mind taking a look around for some multicarts.

I got the Caltron at an outdoor one near WalMart in Lunenburg, MA. The other multicarts I bought online from various places for $1-20 each.

actully i found that caltron u douche, im the one who lent you the money to pay : P

on a interesting side note the caltron was a rental from the store my dad used to be the manager for which has long since closed down, so it was a really neat find. it really makes me sad cuz i know allllll the walls of nes snes and any other system u can imagine's boxes that where there where most likely thrown away.

good to see u on the boards finally man ive been waiting to see u posting here, keep up the good work

aaron7 is my long time game huntin buddy, he gets all the nes rarity stuff we find, he gives me all the other systems and his extras, it works out quite well, always helpful to have a second set of eyes while huntin.

my maxi-15 is worth a bit, and obviously an action 52 is worth a good bit, as are the caltron/myriad 6-in-1s. outside of that, multicarts aren't worth a whole lot... i've got a few multicarts...most of them have pirated nes game son them, but the real us released ones have really nothing good on them

Indeed it depends on what cart you got, there a some great multi's yopu can sell for a good amount, like the myriad, caltron,maxi15, but also 13-1 is good,52-1,4-1 zapper.

There maybe some good multicarts.. the ones with 1 version of each game.. But the multicarts with like 100+ games on it.. i value them as crap.. Cause it contain maybe 30 differents game in 20 different versions..

i consider them all crap. Pirate stuff in general.
I am not saying i don't like em, but they r pretty worthless really. Cheap @ss productions.
The only nice pirates r the games which never made it to the Nes.

Depends on the games. My 22 in 1 with all sports games, my 4 in 1 with Megaman, Blades of Steel, Double Dribble and Side Pocket and my Lost Levels cart are more valuable than my Chipīn Dale, TNMT3 or Flinstones, for example.

I too, do not really value pirated multi carts. I sorta see them as a step back in collecting for the NES. Not my type of thing, but you have to be one crazy mofo to pay over 20 bucks for one of these.
just my opinion.

Depends on what unique game (and not copy and hack of the same) are on the ROM.

If you have a 110-in-1 and only 25 REAL games on it and a 32-in-1 with 32 REAL games and no hack, the value will be higher on the 32-in-1. That's my personal method

My take on it.

When people own them, they are worth a million trillion dollars, if they want to buy them, they are 'worthless".

Don't get me wrong,I'm not bashing on anyone, just my experiences. I love collecting them, but, hate buying them sometimes.

Really differs. What SebasC says is most of the times true, but not always.
I hve a 260-in-1 cart with 106 different games on it. Some very strange games on that cart too.

I value those carts greatly because of all the games I could play as a kid because I had one; of course I'd rather they made legal compilation of real games and would gladly pay for them but they don't.

I just value my 191-in-1 as a personal item really. Thing I like with them is being able to play alot of older NES titles along with some more quirky titles that never came out over here in the US.

dont really understand the views of some people as far as these multi carts go. they arent wortht a whole lot and most people dont respect them as games, but there are non-hacks and games not released elsewhere on some, so what makes them horribly different from the maxi-15? or the unlicensed games that are hacks of sachen games?

mine have mostly hacks and multiples of the same game, but there are games ive never seen before....i cant imagine all of these multis have all game hacks and not one newly coded game, so what makes them different than actual releases? a new, never before seen game is still new, right?

not really related, but has anyone dumped multis so they can be played on emulators?

Is that the "Golden Game 260-in-1" cart? I have it too.
