I am wondering what ever happened to the PC/console thingy that was hyped up and seemed to disappear. Is it still coming out? How much? Any new info would be great!

does it matter? its apex...really now, if there dvd players...or rather anything made by them is any idication of what there system will be...spend more and get the alienware

i read about a new console coming out, apparently it will take you highshcool math exam, make toast and have broadband to download content blah blah top of line crappy crap... its name? Vaporware!

I say this in every Apextreme thread; this is the absolute worst name for a videogame console ever. It reminds me of that old commercial with the apes abusing the luggage in a hotel room.

Vaporware is right. These topics are good and are a good way to keep up with the good and bad of future consoles, what ever happened to that thread that we started listing every new console coming out?

I was completely sold on the Apextreme when it was going to be a < $200 device that hooked up in your living room and let you play PC games. Sounded good to me. The last I read, now it's a $500 device that's also a DVR and a media center. $500? I can get a Dell (granted, low end) for $399 and stuff it into my entertainment center.

I dunno. Some of these ideas sound so good ... why to they screw 'em up before I get a chance to buy 'em?

I agree with ya completely! I thought that it would be VERY COOL to play some PC games on my TV (not that I own that many) for under $200. But not at this new price.
