My Sega CD....I bought it with a Genesis 2 attachced. (it's the 2nd model Sega CD... the one made for the Genesis 2, duh. ^^ ),... Ever since I bought it...it does'nt work. The Genesis worked..the CD does'nt. I Fail to find a power switch on the Sega CD..so I imagine it must be an auto start kinda one?

I openeded er up...and nothing seems wrong inside... all the CD drive gears are here.. I can't even find a fuse on this board...nothing seems loose...

Perhaps someone can help me troubleshoot this?

Sounds like a fuse:

It'll probably be the 'F1' fuse near the power supply. There's been a couple of previous topics about this, so if you do a search it'll turn up more info.

I'd say it is the fuse. I repaired a Mega cd 2 a couple of weeks ago which i thought was broken. I just soldered a piece of fuse wire across the top of the old fuse. Powered up first time with no problems.

Any idea if these repairs would work on a JVC X'Eye as well?
