I'm pretty sure the Keyboard/Mouse combo works for FPSs...I know Halo.bungie.org had a news post about it like a month or 2 ago.

Me, I prefer controller. Always have. It's why I can't play PC first person shooters. I tried playing Unreal against a friend of mine before, and she totally destroyed me-I couldn't get it to do what I wanted at all(not that it really would've mattered, anyway, in all fairness).

Bleh is Halo 2 worthy of clanning with? I might give it a shot. Halo 1 was totally boring to ever play multiplayer. Well its probally just my taste anyways, as Im still stuck to playing Unreal Tournament 99. Nothing else has compared, not even UT 2k3 or 2k4. :( Not to thread Hijack, but did anyone clan in UT??

Yeah I just decided to toss that in and see if you'd notice. I was thinking about your comment and I thought for a second...then I was like OMG that's the Pixies! :D lol

@JR - I'll agree on the boring aspect, but I only find it boring with 2 players in multiplayer mode (besides Co-Op, of course).

If anyone wants to have a few rounds then I'll be on tonight sometime.

Well, I'd join a DP clan for sure... but, as Copasetic could see for himself, I am not that good in Halo! Guess some more pratice will do. I am more of a team player... not too good on 1-on-1.

But yea, that'd be fun. Or at least, organize DP Halo2 games. :)

We had a pretty decent match last night, with DrJustinRamone, norkusa, ubersaurus, Copasetic, PapaStu, Dangerboy, myself, and some other non-DP folks.

Organizing more things like this would be fun, especially once my skills improve and I can play a bit better. LOL

On a side note , what sort of emblems did everybody go with on your arms ? I did the "triad" (three triangles) and made them gold. It looks like the tri-forces from legend of zelda :D

Yeah I noticed that Oobgarm's emblem was quite close to the Treasure logo. I added some of the neo-geo.com members to my list and once I headed in, it was like the DP/NG games were already all started up and ready to go. :-P

As long as Team Slayer games are played then I'm happy. The CTF matches are so crazy. :eek 2:

Those were some pretty damn fun matches. I wish I could've played longer on the zanzibar one though, I haven't actually played it before then.

I definitely need to play some more slayer games. One-on-One is where I am lacking a bit. I am more of a team player so...that compensates for the lack of 1-v-1 skill.

I play mostly Team skirmish those days. That seems most ppl love that mode. Any tried the Big Team battles? just curious to know what it is like...

Fun match last night. I had clan members peppering me with messages though so I had to make it brief. Cloudstrife29661 was there also (he rarely posts) as Evilmarvil19.

Now, just to brag a little, last night marked my first killing spree from meleeing people with the FLAG! It was awesome. My favorite moment was just grabbing their flag as their flag carrier was about to cap, meleeing him to death and returning the flag he had ALMOST got home. That was crazy.

You should check out the keyboard/mouse combo that is going to be released for the Xbox soon. I'm most likely going to be picking it up. We'll have to have some exclusive 1-on-1 matches for practice. I don't mind the huge games with no teams but when I'm after someone and a guy sneaks behind me and kills me, then I get annoyed the odd time. :/

Yea... FFAs can be boring and infuriating at times. I much rather like team play for big groups. Gives some kind of focus and keep it organized.

We'll set up some 1-on-1 over the weekend. Should be fun. :)

It looks from the link that an adapter is just being made (forcing you to use your own keyboard/mouse or buy the combo afterwards). :(
