New Exclusive GBA color/package at Circuit City

So grabbing iPods from the back today I noticed a new GBA SP package that I assume will be out for Black Friday:

Pearl White GBA SP w/ Metroid Zero Mission

I believe the price on it was the regular MSRP of $79.99

I didn't get a good glance at it, but it looked like an albino platinum. Nothing too exciting, but it's far better than the tribal tattoo or TRU Shrek variations of late...

Actually, now that I think about it, I'm not 100% this will be exclusive to CC. I just assumed that since we had the Mario Kart w/ GBA SP bundle last Christmas and I'd imagine a lot of retailers are doing the same sort of exclusive bundles. Sooo...if it pops up anywhere else, my bad for claiming it's exclusivity.

Dude that's awesome! I love the pearl effect on the famicom SP, I hope the CC exclusive bundle has that pearl effect rather than a simple matte white.

Just to let you all know, it is a CC exclusive and it is being held for Black Friday. We received an email about it today. If a CC near you is selling it early, you can try to pick it up, but you'll most likely get turned down. To the best of my knowledge, it's very limited so be sure to pick one up on Black Friday.

I dunno about that colour. Looks like a purple to me - though the link reads pink.

But Zellers in Canada has pink exclusive GBA SPs available.

Aww, dammit! White was the color I REALLY wanted when I bought my Flame SP back in February. I love the red, but I really wanted a white one but of course, the only one available was in another country and well, I wouldn't have been able to get 20% off it since we didn't sell it.

Heck, I'd "trade up" to the white one if the DS wasn't coming out. I'm actually tempted to trade in my SP for some quick DS game cash. (Of course, how much would I even get? Not much really so I'll keep it.)

It's kinda odd that the pearl white SP is a Circuit City exclusive in the US and a Future Shop exclusive in Canada...

Circuit City's sole Canadian presence is through the Canadian Radio Shack and Future Shop belongs to Best Buy. Go figure.
