Ok. We so far are going to have these:
Normal Ads
These are one or two page ads that youi might see in Game Informer-Popular ones lately are games like Mega man x7, Devil May Cry, ect. But thses don't need to be for games, they can be for a store, a game, a site whatever. These will be $5.00 To place, but if you are helping on the Magazine/Annual they are free to place.
Classified Ads
These are free to place. They are text ads and can include 1 picture per ad.
Super Stores
These are 1 to 10 pages that show the products that you/your store/your site are selling that might be of intrest to the reader. They are $30.00 For the 10 page package, and with that package you get MORE pages for $.50 a page.
Trader Pages
These are kind of like white pages. You Need To List A Name, and at least 1 means of contact which include but are not limited to:
Name
Common Screen Name
Aim Name
MSN Address
Yahoo Screen Name
ICQ address
E-mail Address
Home Address
Work Address
Phone Number
Website address
Ect.
Listing is free.
Gaming Yellow Pages
This is where you can list your store, webiste, or any way that you are involved in selling products. Listing in the yellow pages is free.
Import Section
This is Neo-Jeorges section, but if you want to help with it, ask him or me.
The American/Brittish/Euro/UK/Canadian Section
This Needs A Helper from all the above mentioned countries/regions.

Let's see.... Ads, ads, yellow pages, ads, ads, and sorta-kinda alluding to the sections at the end. Hmmm...
TYGC, let me give you just a skootch of advice: Primarily push the CONTENT of your mag before trying to get advertisers. People want to know what they're supporting before they'll toss money your way. Maybe some samples or at least a listing of articles in the works. (SPECIFIC articles, not something like "We'll review PS2 and GC stuff.") After you have a direction with your mag should you even try to attract adevrtisers. I know that I would NEVER give anyone money until I see some degree of production towards a finished product - article samples, a table of contents, a list of writers, a cover mock-up, ANYTHING.
Also, you need to place the content info at the top of your message. Right now, it looks like you're just going after the money rather than potential future readers.
Just trying to give you some tips from my years of practice as an actual honest-to-God magazine editor. Good luck.

Just a quick heads up:
1) It's spelt British, not Brittish.
2) Britain and the UK are the same place.

OK, excuse this stupid American, but I have a question that's bugged me for years, yet I STILL cannot get a straight answer. Please, please tell me:
What is the difference between "England," "Great Britain," and "The United Kingdom?" I know that they each represent a different "place," but how exactly is each one of these defined?
Sorry if this is an ignorant question, but I've been befuddled by this for years.

Great Britain is no longer great and Scotland is no longer a part of it.
The United Kingdom is no longer united since Wales and Scotland devolved.
England has good footballers. >:(
Scotland doesn't. :(
Is that enough or would you like me to go into more depth?

Has this website/magazine/television documentary been officially sanctioned by DP Industries, Inc? I do not see Ms. Achika's stamp of approval (high heel footprint deeply embedded) on any of your queries.
Please be sure to clear this through her department prior to submitting any further queries of this nature. Failure to do so will result in dire consequences and repercussions.
Thank you.

YES! That's the answer I've been looking for!
Hmmm... So the name depends on which countries are encompassed. Fascinating - and yet a little confusing. It's no wonder we Yanks have trouble with the terminology. Also, we're geocentric idiots. :P

Perhaps he was referring to my current game of Civilization II, in which I've chosen to take on the role of England (mostly because I dig the Premiership) and am currently in a war of a nuclear nature with the Babylonians.
Curse you Babylon!!!
(no offense intended to any actual people of Babylonian descent of course).

Erm. It's very rare to find a soldier wearing a kilt in front of buckingham palace. Usually, they tend to wear red jackets, big long black furry hats, and black trousers.
You are more likely to find people wearing kilts in Scotland... with bagpipes... making copper out of pennies ( :P at Asylum Seeker ).
I dig the Premiership
So, which team do you support. Please note, if you say Man Utd I will have to put a contract on your life.

Lucky me - I'm a Gunners fan! Even before they had Sega as a sponsor (which means before their first place finish last season (I hate band wagon jumpers)). I've got both a red 'JVC' stip and a yellow 'SEGA' one (not the 'Dreamcast' one unfortunately).
What about you?
BTW: Can you do me a favour? I've looked for this before but it's not easy. I'd like a list of which teams play out of which cities and what their nick names are. I know a few of them but not all. Just use the PM or email me...

FIRST 5 POSTERS GET FREE 5 PAGE STORES, AND AN AD IT THE ANNUAL!
I have a poster of LEIF GARRETT!
w00t!
So where do I send it, and what do I win?! Also, do I have to send it before five other people or is just saying I will send it good enough?! Also will I be judged based on the postmark or the date you unroll it in your bedroom, because I don't think I should be held accountable by the good 'ol USPS!? Finally, is it OK if there are tack-holes in the poster and some small almost non-noticeable stains?

joe, you win a five-page store. It's a bit more cramped than a five-storey store, unless you happen to be a flat person. Hey, where did I put away the steamroller?

I have a huuuuge 4' x 5' poster of Leif Garrett as well, autographed by Chewbacca.
Actually, it's not so much a poster of Leif Garrett as it is a sheet of yellow legal paper with a hand turkey drawn on it.
Do I win an ad it the annual?

Good good. I've been supporting Arsenal all my life, its the family team, if you have it. Its also quite sad that you have more Arsenal shirts than me, I only have the new 02 one. Just to inform you, Arsenal also won the F.A cup last season, so we did the double, for the 3rd time in our 120 year history.
Anyway, teams go like this:
Team - Location - Nickname
Arsenal - London - The gunners
Aston Villa - Birmingham - The Claret and Blues
Birmingham City - Birmingham - The Blues
Blackburn - Blackburn - ???
Bolton Wanderers - Bolton - The Trotters
Charlton Athletic - London - The Addicks
Chelsea - London - The Blues/Pensioners
Everton - Liverpool - The Toffees
Fulham - London - The Cottagers
Leeds United - Leeds - The Lilies
Liverpool - Liverpool - The Reds
Manchester City - Manchester - The Blues
Manchester United - Manchester - The Red Devils
Middlesborough - Middlesborough - ???
Newcastle United - Newcastle - The Magpies
Southampton - Southampton - The Saints/Soton
Sunderland United - Sunderland - The Black Cats
Tottenham Hotspurs - London - Spurs/ The cockerels
West Bromwich Albion - Birmingham - The Baggies
West Ham United - London - The Hammers

@Christian--Hey, you know, I think you should lighten up on TYGC. He's turned a corner and is making a fresh start. It's admirable he's launching a new video game-related endeavor which will surely become the dominant paradigm, rendering the stodgy old DP site obsolete. I think it's especially commendable that he's taking a holistic world view and is including foreign sections as well.
I have extensive foreign travel and ESL experience. To that end, I humbly offer my service as editor of the Africanese and Asianish sections of your publication. Time permitting, I will also assume responsibility for the Blackfoot/Choctaw and Etruscan sections as well, and perhaps even High Frisian and Low Frisian to boot.
But not Middle Frisian. That would be silly.
Achika

I'm sorry, but at this point, all the grammar and misspellings aside, I cannot put the DP Industries stamp of approval on this topic. With so much wishy-washiness over the assumed participants, I do not foresee this project getting off the ground in the suspected time frame of this year.
Now if you decide to fix the grammar mistakes soon and fill out the necessary paper work in triplicate and send in the required $500 event, er, associates fee, I can only imagine my judgement might sway.
Ms. Achika
