In the Advance guide, the Dreamcast system description implies that all the games run on Windows CE, and this is not the case. The operating system the games are developed for are burned on the discs. The great majority of the games are created using Sega's own Katana development system. The WindowsCE system is mostly used for puzzle games or porting games from other systems. Most Windows CE Games say Powered by Windows CE on the actual disc, or case.

Perhaps I should compile a list? Is there a team that keeps track of the dreamcast part of the list, I noted there's a new maintenance team for hte playstation, and I"m a major dreamcast fan.

Agreed, besides my knowledge of imports doesn't really extend to EU, but does include some JP Games.

Either way I'dlike to do whatever I can to help this section...

I'm the primary Dreamcast guy - a list of CE-powered games would be a nice addition! Too late to do anything about the intro though, I certainly didn't mean to imply that all games were CE-driven. When the next edition comes out the whole intro would be re-written anyway (probably with a new error!)

If there's anything you'd like to add, please direct it to me at digitalpress@email.com with your real name so you can be properly credited.

Thanks!

Cool. I was hoping to try to add stuff for the next edition (whenever that will be) to help other dreamcast enthusiasts. Even though the DP guide is supposed to be an overall guide for a plethora of systems, I'd like to see the most done about the little space assigned to the DC... Call it DC Love!

If it's any consolation, I think the Dreamcast section is already the best-organized and most fully-packed one in the Advance Guide. But any additional info is always good to have, of course.
