Is there someone who can help a poor italian? :)
I won an auction with no international shipping from USA. I live in Italy but before bidding I've contacted the seller asking if it was possible to ship to my country and he said that it wasn't a problem. The day after the end he sent me a message asking for the address to calculate a proper shipping. I've sent many replies but after a week I am still waiting for the total. I think that they sold the item to a better offer outside ebay or something like this. Now I am sending one mail everyday asking for a reply, but nothing. The seller has 2500 transactions and 99% positive feedback. What should I do? I would like to send the money (I've approximatively calculated the shipping by myself) to see what happends...

Report to ebay.
Other option is to jump out of you window.
You choice?

That sucks, but maybe the seller just had to go out of town for emergency or can't get online for some reason. Stuff like that does happen sometimes. It does sound suspicious though. I recently bought an item from a seller in Germany, and I did the same thing you did. I contacted the seller and asked them if it was OK for me to bid, and they said yes it was no problem and they would ship the item to me here in the US. I won the auction, and after that everything went pretty smoothly. I even got the item in record time. So it probably is a good idea to report it to ebay. I would be very cautious about dealing with someone who suddenly stopped communicating with me like that. And I would be even more cautious about how I sent them money.

Ok, I'll wait another one or two days then I'll report the seller.
Just in case, this is the auction:

And finally...he was sick and off the computer!
He contacted me! Now I feel very sorry for all the mails I've sent...

Interesting auction. If I may ask, how are you going to use those boards? I cannot even imagine what kind of system they plug into.

Well, the daughterboard will be an useless part of my collection. What really interests me are these 3 protos. If these are not bit-rotten there must be something inside: EPROMs have stickers!
They should work perfectly on my genesis-mega drive and EPROMs are socketed so I should be able to dump them. What makes more interesting this auction is that the 3 protos shouldn't be just review copies or finals, since they come with a part of a development kit, so they MAY come directly from a developer... :-P
