Does anyone here happen to have a spare one of these I could possibly buy? My stepfather needs it so he can use his Sega cd (ver. II) again. When one of our cats was younger he chewed through the cord.

Is that the mixing cord that runs from the Genesis 1 to the Sega CD 2?
I found a similar cord for use on a PSOne that does the trick. Its called "AV Connection Cable" and its so you can hook a PSOne up to an LCD screen.
The cord is a tad long, but it works and is readily availible.

Can I find one at Radio Shack? Someone at AA suggested a 1/8 inch plug to composite male cable.

How much are you willing to pay, I have one but my Sega CD II is conected to one of my Sega Genesis II systems so I don't use it for that. However I use it for some other stuff like audio mixing for some things of mine (I use it because it wooks and will do it) but if you are willing to pay enough to make me allow to part from this, I may sell it.
BTW. Do you have the Sega CD II platform extender? It allows the CD II to hold a Genesis I. Without it the systems won't fit together right.

If I remember right my stepfather does have it. I dunno how much the cord goes for so I dunno a guesstimate on it. i'd like to know thought an answer to my previous question about the cord too.

Yeah, you can pick one up from Radio Shack.
I just used a cord that came w/ my old stereo. Strangely enough it was used to relay the signal from the remote control on the stereo portion to the cd player. The PSone cord will work (discounted many places to $1), or a cable you pick up at a dollar store. Not sure of the exact name - but the same plug as on headphones (2 stripes for stereo) on both ends.
You don't need it if it is Genesis model 2 w/ Sega Cd model 2.
