You all knew it was coming...yep, I sprained my knee playing DDR!!!
My knee now has the amazing ability to bend backwards a couple of inches, whenever it wants!!!
It's even more humiliating when you hear what song I was dancing to...remember, the only DDR game I could find was the Disney Mix...and I'm a true newbie...that's right boys and girls...I hurt my knee dancing to Macho Duck...let the pointing and laughing commence...

Sucks man....the worst DDR injury I've had is.....I dunno, exhaustion from beating 3 8-footers in a row...? :/
I can't find DDR Disney Mix anywhere here. The collector in me is begging for it. STAY AWAY FROM BRITNEY'S DANCE BEAT. Not because it is Britney Spears, but because it has a total of 5 SONGS.
I stared at that smiley face way to long waiting for it to wink....

You don't understand, I had that record as a kid and that was my favorite song for like 5 years.
Maybe I can find it at toys r us or something. Whee!
I too have been looking for the Disney DDR Mix for a while. It's really hard to find!

Ha ha! Dance Dance Revolution is kid's stuff! Just wait until you try Feet of Fury on the Dreamcast! Your legs will be worn down to tiny nubs after a few games of that!

That sucks. Well look at the bright side, if you sit down and madly pound the pad with your fists (you know, they way EVERYONE did at least once with the power pad), you might still be able to play.

Hey, is DDR Disney Mix that hard to find? I got my copy at Electronic Boutique. And it ain't kids' stuff (well, not totally). It can be challenging all right, and the background images are a lot more distracting than those in Konamix (which I also have).

Well, the only reason someone got me the Britney game was that they found someplace selling it for $5 new...
I've seen the Disney Mix 3 other times than when I bought it...Toys R Us seems to be your best bet...
BTW, the knee's getting better...I actually hurt it 7 days ago, just too embarrassed to mention it until just now... O_O
I'm going to give it another run tomorrow...wish me luck :)

Are you suggesting that Britney is more embarrassing than Disney, or implying that a wrist injury would be more embarrassing than his knee injury? ;-)

scooterb you're not alone, I've had a trick ankle since severely spraining it 12 years ago and almost everytime I play too much DDR I end up reinjuring it and limping for a couple of days. It doesn't help that my favorite arcade/PSX is DDR, I just have to get in moderate doses ;)
