wow, that's almost the exact same excuse you used with me a couple months back brykasch. after 2 weeks of no payment, i PM'd you, you said something along the lines of "oh, you haven't got it? i thought i sent it out. i'll get another one out tomorrow." after another 2 weeks i PM'ed you asking if you still wanted the games, because i still hadn't received a money order. to which i got no response, even after i sent a followup PM a couple days after.

luckily i didn't make the mistake of sending the games before receiving payment. i mean, it's one thing to say "oh, i don't want those anymore, go ahead and relist them" and another to COMPLETELY BLOW SOMEONE OFF.

sorry if i went on a little rant, but i was more than a little upset when this happened.

Oh no, I haven't been waiting long. He said he was going to send the money order tomorrow. But it is for a lot of Sierra PC games and I have a couple more guys wanting them. So I really cant afford to be strung along for 2-3 weeks when I have other buyers who said they would pay with Pay-pal.

Oh, I don't think that he's trying to rip me off, It's just I've waited long enough. What if I needed that money for a surgery or something? Id have to wait months before getting the surgery I need? I don't believe you'd rip me off :P

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that the way BidPay works in Canada is to send a Western Union money order to the recipient, rather than having some kind of direct deposit like in the States. If you have MasterCard only, though, you're out of luck now since they stopped accepting it a few months ago, as I found out the hard way recently.

Yes, I PM once a week, and I know for a fact that he's checking stuff out everyday.

He is obviously ignoring me, and choosing to steal my items, so if in a few days he doesn't contact, I will probably be calling his police station :)

Really? I can't see that when I click on someone's profile..

For some reason, the subRed theme doesn't have that info. It shows up on SubSilver though. :) Downside to that is, the handy dandy links at the top don't show up on SubSilver. :(

I really wish I had seen this post when it first went up. This is the same Dillon guy that was dicking around in RGVAM/C. A lot of complaints similar to yours. His reputation there went down the toilet in record time. I'm sorry. If I had seen this post a year ago I would have warned you about him (I didn't know he moved from arcades into console stuff).

Well he screwed himself over too many times for it to be a legit 'lost in mail' transit of money coming to me. He said he sent 3 money orders in a month's time, he said he had to wait to recall the money order, in one PM he asked me if I recieved my sega master system games, and wouldnt respond til I PMed him asking about his SMS games (just used the title in a PM, bitched him out in the actual PM), and THEN responded, and then just pissed away 14 months. Being new, and no feedback, I was obligated to send first, it arrived, he "put them in his gaming closet right away" and "forgot" to pay me. So much stuff didn't add up correctly, and hopefully noone else gets burned by this dipstick. :angry:

Well, other than that fact that the search engine is broken, I wouldn't have bought anything from someone with no or negative feedback anyway. IMHO, instead of cluttering up the forum with a stickied thread, the search engine shoudl just be fixed.

Let me just say that I am VERY AGAINST having a "blacklist" here. In the case of this guy and BIGGEORGEJOHNSON, people who make a career out of screwing people over then yes, it would serve to warn people. However, what about the folks who simply screwed up one time, or perhaps had some bad luck stacked against them while doing a deal?

I've seen people who have received one bad feedback, and then the ones after that were positive. That wouldn't matter much if we had a blacklist, as the person would be flagged for life here, and probably wouldn't be able to do any deals with anyone. Also, I'd think that someone who's simply trying to dirty up the name of someone else without any real cause would be much harder to pick up on in the case of a blacklist.

I think that for people like the guy in this thread, it would be a good thing, but I'm against it for all the other people it would screw over here permanently, just for slipping up once. This factor alone prevents me from taking this idea under any kind of serious consideration, personally. If someone screws you over, leave feedback in the feedback forum. If they make a habit of it, the bad stuff will add up and it will be plainly visible to anyone who does their research that this person should NOT be dealt with. I think that system works pretty well, and see no reason to shortcut it with a blacklist that could put tons of people out on the street for no good reason.
