standee collectors

how many people here look for standees to display. im working a deal to trade off my zelda one but how many do collect and display standees? i might be taking the HALO2. just wondering ,( i personally like the small displays one can put on their table . not the really big ones. ).

no pic of it and im currently in discussion with someone on it. its the windwaker . but im looking into getting halo2. since its not called in my store yet i might claim it . before i do that (since i dont have any space) i was wondering if anyone here cares abotu them and likes them with a spot to stick them. but i hold the small displays for me but hte big ones will just get stored.

yeah,i grab them whenever i can.i have 4 big standees,maximo vs the army of zin,soul calibur2,resident evil outbreak,and sonic heros.and i have a whole bunch of little ones like the gba classic series one where you press the button,and you get a little sound byte from zelda,mario and donkey kong.i got a fire emblem one,and alot of others.they look good in my gameroom.

Might be getting a few more. I would love to have the Halo 2 one @_@

I have a few of the large ones but I don't have the room to display more than one (I've got the Vice City standee in my game room). The oldest one I have is from the original Donkey Kong Country, it's a huge DK standee.

I've got dozens and dozens of the countertop-style ones. So many that I've started giving them away. Some of my favorites: the original HALO, Final Fantasy Crystal (in that motorized spinny thing), the GBA NES Classics with the sound button, and the F-Zero GC version with the flashing runway lights.

I really like standee's and promo things, the ideal "decorative" for your game room..

I have an big oversized ninja gaiden box, a big nes classics cube and a viewtiful joe counter-display.

I also collect standees to a certain degree. The oldest ones I have are Blasto and Parasite Eve, both tall floor stands that are stored away. I've also got the 'Jill' portion of the massive Resident Evil 3 one that resides behind my desk. More recently, I have the following: Gran Turismo 3 (stored), Oni (displayed), Mega Man Network Transmission (stored), Resident Evil Dead Aim (stored), Sonic Heroes (displayed), Enter The Matrix (displayed) and Tekken 4 (displayed). I also have the Pac Man portion of the Pac Man World 2 standee; he hangs on the wall above my TV and winks at everyone.

As far as counter cards go, I have: Legend of Dragoon, Gran Turismo 2, Cool Boarders 3, Chu Chu Rocket!, Mario vs. Donkey Kong, F-Zero GX, GBA NES Classics w/ sound, Xbox Music Mixer coaster dispenser (with coasters!) and Grabbed by the Ghoulies.

Don't even get me started on posters. Yeesh.

Yeah, I have a few too. I snag em whenever I see em. I had the Resident Evil 2 standee...but I sold it cheap a while back (stupid!)

Metroid Prime (the BIG one)
Donkey Konga (for trade)

I might have a few others too...but I'm not sure what I have back in Oregon.

and mini-standees:

Siren (for trade)
Wild Arms 3
Culdcept (complete store retail display package)
Final Fantasy VII (yes really....it's a 3D one with Cloud on it)

and oversized display boxes:

Arc the Lad: Twilight of the Spirits

Star Ocean: Till the End of Time
Crimson Sea 2

Got a few others too...all stashed away and I don't remember what tho.


Also have a few other items like that:
Cardboard Resident Evil 2 cutouts of the characters and enemies (have adhesive backings, unused)
FFVII original promo poster (not mint, the 2 sided one with the cover on it)


Currently looking for the following counter standees:

Clock Tower 3
PS1 RPG and Atlus counter standees
Dynasty Warriors (anything...standees, posters, etc)

LOL, I can see it just fine. Anyways, it's the standee for Legend Of Zelda: Wind Waker. Unfortunately it's stashed away now because I have no room. My record collection took it's place.

I have a Red Dead Revolver standee - it's not in the best shape in the world after travelling nearly 900 miles to ECGX and back.

I mostly collect posters though:

etc.

Posters don't take up floor space, so that makes me happy.

i havent got any standees yet, but i was going thru the basement of the virgin where i work, and i found a bunch of these like thick plastic posters, that go into these standee type things we have and they have a light behind em, i got a windwaker, halo, and mario sunshine one and a few more, they are really awesome lookin with light behing them, i plan to build a few light boxes in my room, so when you turn on the light switch they come on and look awesome!
