where do you come up with this shit? first of all shipping a tv is most likely gonna cost more than $10, second if you want a cheap tv, go to local thrift shops and such.

i cant figure out who's more retarded, the young game collector or gamergary.

Hey, we do have a $5 (Canadian, that is) TV that we found in a garage sale. Granted, it's a 10-inch black and white TV from the 1970s and it has a rotary dial with RF and antenna jacks (making it fine to play the 2600?) and the sound doesn't work anymore... Anyway, it's going the way of the dump as I treated my bf to a new one that works fine as a birthday gift (he just turned 30).

Seriously tho: a new cheap tv goes for about $100 US (I'm talking of a small 13-inch TV that has AV plugs for videogames). Or go to a pawn shop and pray that the TV doesn't actually belong to a gang member.

Go to goodwill. But the cheapest tv's I've seen there were around $14.. so that's a little over budget eh.

I've got an even better deal!

I'll sell you my nice JVC 27" with RCA & S-Video for only $7.49, + $449 S&H!

And, for the record, I do also have a nice 27" JVC with the same inputs - an AV-27920 to be exact. ;)

You mean like this one? Get your butt to the Goodwill Thrift as-is shop. I found that one for $1.50, but when you pay that price, expect to tinker lots with it to bring in a signal (even for games). The "normal" part of GW will charge about $15 for the working old style (at least here they do) Don't expect to find a color one for under $10. Maybe just under $30

BTW: For the record, there's no way in hell I'm selling my 27" JVC color TV.

I paid $10 at a yard sale for that same orange one..but mine worked like a charm. As for my 27" JVC I'Art flatscreen....I'd sell it for $700 US + shipping from eastern Canada to Seattle where you're at!! :)

Anyone notice how many of us own JVC TVs? JVC bloody rules. I have a JVC TV, VCR, and DVD player. Every remote is compatible...makes everything so easy....

are those orange TVs color? Most of the neat old TVs I see are black & white. I passed up a really cool denim covered one awhile ago.

Thanks, Y-bot

I have a JVC 19" (it's just for my room and/or dorm) with composite, s-video, and component inputs....it's absolutely beautiful....I talked the guy at Circuit city down by about $50, and ended up getting it for $190....or, I guess that would be $182.50 + $7.50 S&H. :D

I had a tv i was going to give away but I gave it to my aunt instead. I recently got a used Sharp 27" tv with front and rear a/v hookups for only $90.00 from my friend who went back to Indonesia. I think he had a 20" sony one he was selling for $50.00 but I"m sure that's long gone now.

I think circuit city was selling the 20" flat apex tv for about 150 or less.. dun remember exactly... tvs are cheap as heck (analog tvs) because they are promoting digital tvs now since we all have to move to the new digital tvs by 2006 they say.

Check the thrift shops...they can be had for cheap.
