I bought a mystery mario scene toy thing

Found it at newbury comics for $8. It's a mystery because the box has a cool little mario art cover and the back has a picture of each playset in the series, but you don't know what one you get until you open the box.

It was really easy to put together. Mario and the bloober are stuck on there with magnets. on the back of the set is the other magnet that sticks them to it.

If anyone knows a place where I can get these (newbury is sold out) it would be cool :eek 2:

I got my own set from PLay-Asia... well, one of them at least. I got the "Mario on clouds with 3 coins", a.k.a. one of the more boring ones :/

Yeah, they are great. Recently i got a complete set off ebay. In japan you can also buy small single mystery box's that have the mario bricks on the outside. Inside you get a random nintendo pixel magnet character. I hope they release a whole series of famicom game sets in this format.

yes,i ordered 2 of them from play asia.i got the mario at the end of the level with the flag pole,and i got the underwater level.they are very cool.i didnt know which ones i was getting,because there random,but i was happy with the two i got.i should of ordered the whole set though.

I ordered 5 of them for my boyfriend from Play Asia back when we first had this topic. We ended up with two 1-1's, 2 cloud scenes and a warp zone.
