PAL Nes Games

I have an older issue of DP and had never heard of a game called Mario & Yoshi and no mention of it under US releases - is this a PAL game only. Also Blowout and Yoshis Cookie.

Mario & Yoshi I believe was just called Yoshi in the states.

Wasn't that called Super C, or Super Contra, in the U.S.? The first Contra was known as Probotector in the UK, I think, so it stands that the second would be Probotector 2.

Mario & Yoshi is indeed the PAL version of "Yoshi".

Probotector 2 is in fact the PAL version of "Super C".

Like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, in the UK it was called Teenage Mutant Heroe Turtle for some reason.
Also Ninja Gaiden was changed to Shadow Warriors because back then and even now I think Ninjas were/are considered evil in europe

Here's one: Dracula X for the SNES (which is not the same as Dracula X: Rondo of Blood for PC Engine Duo or Dracula X: Nocturne in the Moonlight for Sega Saturn) is called Castlevania: Vampire's Kiss in its PAL incarnation. Confusing? You bet!

Castlevania: Bloodlines for Mega Drive is called Castlevania: Generations in Europe. Some of the blood and violence has been toned down, as well (bloody river in title screen has been palette swapped to make it look like blue water).
