I'm liking the looks of the FM Towns database, but I have a few things:
What's being used to determine prices? Curious.
Second, here's one not on the list: Ultima Underworld. A complete copy will come with a nice letter opener sword thing.
So far, I'm excited to see it there :)

It's terribly incomplete and being built by me as information trickles in.

So far all I've had to go on is eBay final bid prices and the input of a few of its sellers. Not much.

I shall add this. The Towns section needs a champion, badly!

I was suppose to work on the town stuff but never really had that much time to spend on it. I think I had about 200 titles or so. I probably won't be around much but could send whatever I had done for the section?
As for the Ultima games I don't remember seeing Ultima Underworld. I remember there was a Ultima Trilogy for 1-3, as well as single releases for Ultima 4-6.
As for prices you might to check Yahoo Japan auctions as that the best place to get Town stuff or help develop a price list. I remember your Raiden price seemed kind of high to me. I could just give you a direct link if you want to get prices for stuff now and than on Yahoo? There's so few people who have a Marty and or stuff that gets auctioned off on Ebay so it's hard to get a fair price guide and or rarity guide regardless.

I figured you had given up! It's a tough section to edit, there are so many titles and so little info to us Westerners. But yes, please send any changes you made. I've done some work since the original file I sent you as welll but should be able to match them up.

It does exist, and I've added a few others from this seller's list:

I have been checking Yahoo! Japan but I don't find very much there either. This is a tough nut to crack. I need an Eastern friend who is hardcore Marty!

Oops, I forgot about this topic!
There's a problem with using eBay for FM Towns stuff - it's too darn expensive! I really need to get onto Yahoo! Auctions Japan (Y!AJ hereafter?) to compare, but I can tell you that virtually nobody is buying at those prices. 16-bit and the others have some high quality stuff, but those prices are Neo Geo crazy. It's not that nobody doesn't want to buy those games - I do! It's just that nobody can afford it, and I suspect that serious sellers are using Y!AJ, again.
Final comment on FM Towns stuff - some games, i.e. Rejection (hey, it's pink, has a chick with a gun silhouetted on the front, and the title! Heh), don't work on the consolized versions; they're for the computer version only. I'd say include them anyhow, but it needs to be noted that they won't work on the system.

I doubled checked and have 288 entries for the FM Town. I think it took me about 4 or 5 hours to compile what I did. It's certainly far from complete. If I had the time I could easily do a complete X68000 in the same amount of time as at least I'm familair with most of the games and developers for the system. I'll try to send the list over to you later today.
If you look on Yahoo JP right now there are about 235 items up for auction which isn't too bad for a system with small following.
list3.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/2084039765-category-leaf.html
If you narrow the search to just Marty stuff you only get a about 11 items.
search3.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/search/auc?p=Marty&auccat=2084039765&alocale=0jp&acc=jp
So in the future if you do check FM Town just search for FM Town stuff as you get a lot more hits. Most people seem to make the mistake of just searching for Marty stuff only.
I'll agree with prices. Ebay prices are way out of hand especially with 16 bit. I sold my Marty and 10 games to someone outside of Ebay for about $350.00 or so. I could of tried of sell everything separately but would of probably ended up with auctions where nobody bids on them like with some of 16 Bit's stuff. The only places outside of Ebay I've seen Marty stuff is Wolfgames and videogameimports where both places prices are also pretty high.
The only game I know that doesn't work on a Marty is Genocide squared. Also most RPGs play kind of slow on Marty. Not to mention the text shows up really small which is why I recommend if you play import text heavy games just play them on the UNZ emulator. Also Martys have a problem where the HD drive tends to die on you. So any games on HD could be a problem. I remember when I had Bible Master I had problems with that game as it used both the HD drive as the system disk is on that but the music, video and stuff like that was stored on the CD.

Aye...besides, I'll never find a system searching for just Marty :P

Thanks for the tips Azazel, and your updates are now online along with the stuf I've been working on. Nice job!
