So I got this for a friend:

How did I do?
It seems the first pack is the HARDEST one to get saled and new, and goes for the highest prices.

not bad...I was lucky enough to be in a podunk town that no one had ever heard of AC when I found 15 sealed packs of 1, 3 and 4 (no series 2) at gamestop. 6.50 seems to be a good price compared to the 3.99 original since they are now out of print. tell your friend its not worth opening though.

for animal crossing cards, its not like the Super Mario Advance 4 cards where you get a complete set by buying one pack.....the AC cards only have 5 cards per pack and series one has something like 60 cards ( i havent bought a back since i completed my series 1,2,3,&4 collection so i dont know how much each set was exactly)
$8.55 for one pack seems a little too high

I know that's high for one pack, but my friend wants them for a collection and does'nt plan on opening it and as I said, the first pack seems to be the hardest to get and goes for the highest prices. It sold cheaper then some other Pack 1's I was looking at (they went for around $9-13)

well, if he only wants one pack to keep sealed and has no intention of opening it then i guess its not that bad

Yeah, he actually went out and got a memory card on EBay that allready has all the cards loaded on it. :D
But he wanted a sealed pack of each of the AC card sets, and got 2-5 on Amazon. I just helped him out by snagging this for him for Christmas, though I'm glad he does'nt post here. ;)

I thought there was a fifth pack. Maybe I'm thinking of something else. I had AC for a while but sold my cards with the game.

Hmm...a friend of mine has like 250 of those cards all loose. You think he could actually sell them for a decent price?

Yeah, you should check out this forum / site. I have posted a thread about the cards on there, and they have a special dedicated section for them...

They are like normal trading cards - There are many sets in each series. You get random cards in each set.
They are upto series 4 now.

I took the easy way out: I bought each set as complete from someone. Saved time, saved hassle and probably saved money trying to get them all individually...
