NHL Hitz or NFL Blitz. Nothing like crushing your fellow man into a pulp and causing a bit of pain to release those tense muscles. I still get a kick when I send Brett Hull (or anybody else for that matter) through the glass on a hard check.

Civilization (original), Master of Orion I and II, and Master of Magic. All turn based strategy. Sit back, relax, get a drink, a snack, play a couple of turns, watch a little TV, play a couple of turns, hit the bathroom, play a couple of turns, surf the net, and CONQUOR the WORLD/GALAXY!!!! Mwahahahaha! A little alien/elf genocide here, armies/fleets stomping everything there. Get a bad turn? Exit, load game. Save the game, stop, and go back anytime. No save points, no frantic twitching reflexes. Relax.

I usually decompress by killing and getting killed by the people I work with in a quick game of 1942 at the end of the day. That game is sooo great!!!! :D
Phosphor Dot Fossils

For me, it's a long, bloody free-form solo skirmish session in Dune 2000.

If anyone out there ever wants to go head-to-head online with me on this game, I'm up for it.

Some arcade game they used to have where a big soft Punching target popped up and you knocked the crap out of it and got a score (And depending on score, knocked the building down, killed the monster, etc.)

Rampage! Nothing makes you feel better than knocking down buildings, batting helicopters out of the way, and snacking on irate citizens..
