Playing PSOne games on PS2. HELP! :|

I wanna play The Legend of Dragoon on PS2. So I checked GameFaqs for a explanation how to use PS2 enhacements for PSOne games.
Look:
"**The Legend of Dragoon - TS smoothes out blocks and jaggies."
TS means Texture Smoothing.
But...
My english isn't that good with slangs.

I believe that means that if you turn on the option on the PS2, the graphics will look better. I don't believe that will cause any compatibility problems.

"blocks and jaggies" are like where the diagonal lines looked jagged and not straight.
