I see that our own Posterman is current high bidder. He's a good guy (as i've had some deals with him in the past) and i think will have a hard time bidding against him considering how insane his NES collection is. Well... we will see.

Sounds like someone from here needs to win it, just so the manual can be scanned! If it was scanned in color on a decent scanner, at least everybody could print one up for themselves. That would be alot better than nothing. Although I don't really know a thing about the NES, now that I think about it. Has the manual ever been scanned by anybody for this purpose before?

P.S.: Was Joe & Mac 2 for the SNES a Blockbuster exclusive also? I don't recall ever seeing it anywhere else, and I've never seen it on ebay either. I've been searching for it for years, but I'm afraid that if I ever do find it, it's gonna be cart only and have rental stickers plastered all over it. And that would ruin it for me, I'd want it at least complete, and as mint as possible.

Mr. "banned on DP" Pa_nes_ian is bidding on this and I've seen him put up some crazy ass bids for select NES items before. This auction could go through the roof.

I have the game complete and in absolute pristine condition, so if someone out there actually wants this manual scanned shoot me a pm. However I find it hard to believe that this manual isn't already scanned onto the net somewhere out there. Then again this is one of the rarest licensed games.

Hmmm, I've talked to Panesian before, and he honestly doesn't seem like a bad guy. He actually tried to do a Secret Santa contest over on the NES boards at gameFAQs but it kinda flopped due to bad/greedy attitudes of other members.

I dunno, seems like a decent guy to me, but bidding on an item to raise the price isn't cool though.

when I buy a rare title, I don't bother to search eBay for more copies/get a feel of the market. I don't care. I got the title.

I know most people do the same.

The only time I do bid for titles again is if the version I have is in bad condition (something a lot of collectors go back to do when they complete their collection!) This might be the case here.
