Picked up V-tennis for the PSX after work today, a R7 at $2.99. here's a pic, and one of Zoop, the R6 I picked up a few months back too.

Nice deal. Now all you need is a bottle of goo gone. LOL

No way *don't* use goo gone or any of those lable remover products. Those things can seriously haze some plastics! Rubbing alcohol works fine.

after it hazes just rub it really good with a clean cloth or paper towel...the haze will be gone right away

I use lighter fluid on my stuff too. Works like a charm, but you have to be careful.

I have left Goo Gone on my plastic PS1 (longbox and normal jewel) cases for up to 10 minutes. Wiped off easily with no haze at all. You have to watch the other brands of similar product, though. Some are stronger than Goo Gone and will probably haze your plastic.

Yes, don't smoke while cleaning. Also, don't do it by candlelight.

Congrats!

I had a copy of V-Tennis for a while, and let me tell you, if you play the game, you'll notice that time has not been good to the graphics. LOL

Thanks all! Likely least try out V-Tennis later on, then put it up on my collection shelf. Likely keep it unless a good offer comes to sell it. Zoop I'm keeping though, I rather enjoy that puzzle game.

I was pleased a couple of months ago when I got my Silverload complete (R7) at EB Games.

The plastic PSX longbox cases are easily replaceable with the Saturn ones?

... O_O Shit.

I just saw one of these a few days ago and didn't bother picking it up :-/

Looks like i'll have to go back.

Congrats on the find though :) I just found my first R8 a few days ago.

Goo gone doesn't haze jewel cases...

Lighter fluid works like a charm on things like vinyl (LP) covers where stuff like Goo Gone will stain the cardboard. It evaporates very quickly! I use it to clean labels off NINTENDO POWER magazines, as well...

What about smell? Does it leave any behind?

No smell behind is left behind. Goo Gone DOES for a short period of time...it'll smell citrusy.

I will stress, if you rub a piece of printed paper (like a magazine cover, LP cover, or NES box) for TOO LONG A PERIOD OF TIME, you will rub off the 'color'. There's my disclaimer. Just don't go overboard with it, and you'll be okay. When you are done cleaning, the article might look stained, but it's just WET, and it will evaporate completely.

As I've mentioned before, I've tried it all and WD-40 does the best.

Hmm I've done lots of Genesis carts with it and never had a problem. :hmm:

ive rubbed several white and not realized it. seems if i try to remove the goo on a label, the color comes off. but this seems true with all cleaning products...
