SMS light gun question question

I just got a SMS light gun and it doenst seem to work on my big screen tv. Do you think its broken, or does it just not work on big screen projection tvs.

I think it may depend on what kind of refresh rate your screen has..

Gun works by blanking the screen to black really fast, the targets are white, if white is reflected into the end of your SMS light phaser it registers a "hit"

You could try cleaning the shiny part inside the barrel of the light phaser? maybe it's dirty?

to my knowledge light guns do not work on projection tvs...

yeah those ugly projection tvs dont work with phasers, and im press sure plasma dont work either.
