DC omikron- does it suck as bad as i think?

so for a long time my DC has lived in my mame cabinet, playing nothing but the classics so i havent played a regular DC game in ages. finally i aquired and hooked up 2cnd DC so i'm back to checking out games. one game i picked a while back and was looking fwd to was omikron but man when i fired it up yesterday it stunk up the screen. i hate to judge too quickly since some games need some getting into before they are enjoyable. is this the case with omikron or is just a godawful port? lets not discuss the PC version, just the DC, anybody play this?

I got tired of it after I had to see the long and incredibly boring intro part. And it has David Bowie in it.

I like the game alot. The first time I played it I was blown away. Its a very different game. The only downfall is it tries to do too much. It's and free roaming adventure in a BladeRunnerish city (Very Cool), Its a 1st Person shooter in parts (Not very well donel) It's a fighter in parts ( Not very well done either) I like the fact that you are just kinda thrown into the game without a clue. Its one of those wake up with amnesia games and you have to figure out whats going on. It's a tad slow in parts. Still I'd give it a try.

Another I think overlooked DC game is Shadowman. I dunno why but I loved that game and thought the DC version blew away the PS2 sequel.

I don't even remember seeing Shadowman for DC. I remember N64 gamers raving about it but I figured they were so happy just to be playing ANY new game. What does David Bowie do in the game and why does a successful and respected rock artist who's a multimillionaire involve himself with these kinds of projects?

well since you mentioned shadowman i might give it another look. that was my favorite DC game, i enjoy a deep well written game so perhaps i can overlook the awful control and weird menus.

david bowie sang a song, cant be as bad as that aerosmith game.
