Honestly?

I was pulilng my hair out trying to wade through all of the individual threads on the recently released Nintendo DS. Hey, I appreciate a system launch as much as the next gamer, but it was getting pretty difficult for someone who had read enough already to find topics that they did care about.

... and I hate locking topics. It's clear people want to talk about this.

So thanks to our fabulous moderating team (and some of the forum "elders"), we've come up with the idea of creating a "forum du jour" of sorts for the DS and while we're at it, the PSP. I've moved all of the threads about these units to the new forum, conveniently located just below the main gaming forum, and will continue to move them there should they pop up in the general forum later.

So if you're interested in what people are saying about the DS or PSP, or have some comments to add of your own, head over there now!

Thank you!!!! I was hoping they would just slow down or just start to post in the other 50 topics. It was almost like Gamefaqs for a few days. ;)

Good call. Fanning the flames constructively while sparing everyone else.

Good move. I was going to request that you guys do this. You must have read my mind like Peter Venkman.

Thanks joe! Great Idea.
Now maybe the blood pressures of those who don't care can go down.

By the way, My DS kicks Kamino's PSP' buttocks!

That's cool. I gues it will be easier to read through them. AND there are alot of them. If I am away from the computer for just a couple of hours, there is so much that I missed. I LOVE all this DS talk!

Still all looks the same (i.e. nice and mixed) when you use 'view posts since last visit' like some of us do :P

Great! So everyone's happy. That's what I was hoping for.

Thanks again for the suggestions, gang.

You can stop making +1 posts that only serve to attack me any time now.

So THAT'S where my DS thread disappeared to. ;)

Seriously, great idea on the new section.

Thank you. I want a DS and PSP at a later time, but this forum was getting very cluttered. I had to wade through all the DS threads...

Great idea. It'll help clean off the main board and also encourage more discussion in the [DS-PSP] threads themselves.

I'm impressed with the design of the DS game cases and the hardware overall. Given the quality of Nintendo games, does everyone think DS game library can be desirable for collectors, especially displayed on the shelf?
