I was wondering if anyone has some info on the game Shagora - Ghost Tank for the 2600. A friend of mine put it up for sale on ebay for 3 euro and it sold for 82. Naturally we're both wondering now what's so special about it. Here's a picture of it:

I hope someone can clear up the mystery (the online rarity guide and google didn't help)

I would bet that it's "Tanks But No Tanks", "Phantom Panzer", or any of the other names given to this game. It's been cloned a lot!

Probably scored well because it's so unusual. I haven't seen it before either, and the fact that it's got a box is a major bonus too.

If you've played the game, does it look like this one?:

What is the strange looking system on the front of the box?

What is the strange looking system on the front of the box?

It looks like an Ultravision, doesn't it?

I'm going to go out on a limb and say it's a Funvision.

The Ultravision was a US version of the Funvision, but the Funvision was actually released, allegedly.

I won the game, so I hope to be able to shed some more light on this soon. That pic of the console indeed is the same as the one shown on the Ultravision box. I don't think that megabeast exists though (unfortunately!).

Cheers,
