Just wondering, this guy is a power seller who is selling several re-sealed SNES games, saying that he got them from a store that opened them to show a customer the actual game, then had them resealed. I dont know what it is, but this type of stuff just makes me feel weird... He flat out says they are resealed, then sets a BIN at the fully sealed w/horizontal line price. heres a link to several of his auctions...

Buy it Now prices really don't mean a thing to me, usually they're just wishful thinking.
I don't have a problem with the auctions. He makes it clear that they're all re shrinkwrapped.

I know that they are just BIN's, but does this guy actually think that resealing his games if going to make them "better" than just a complete version that you could buy for 1/5 of the price?

Wait and see, it's entirely up to the bidders to decide I guess.

I am thinking that they wouldn't go for ridiculous amounts as a factory seal, however it's the holiday times and more ridiculous things have happned on ebay before.
Seller explicitly states that it's a re-seal. So for hardcore collectors wanting factory original seals just to put the game on ththe shelf won't want it. However, for those that want a near-mint to mint condition copy this would be fantastic as they could just win the auction and open the game up.
I am assuming that since it's a re-seal the contents would be in tact, complete, and in great condition as well...so.....it may just end at an astounding price...

That's not too uncommon this time of year. A week or two ago someone bought one cart only for $112. Craziness!

Seems as though he got some decent prices on these.

The seller was up front about the items which is cool. My concern from the start
was what will these new owners will do when / if they go to sell them. Let's hope they are
just as ready to disclose the fact that they are resealed.

Why would anyone pay top dollar for an admittedly sealed game? at least when you buy open complete stuff you know whats inside. We don't know what is inside these games. Is it the real game used, it is some other game?
I'm a big snes collector but when I saw this auction just had a good laugh

For the love of all that is good, why doesn't anyone use TinyURL on these huge Ebay links (http://www.tinyurl.com)? They cause the width of the forums posts to scroll off into the horizon and makes it very annoying to read anything. They even have a small javascript link you can put on your Links bar to make it easy on you. :)
