So I am visiting the parents, helping them move thier buisness from one office park to another. I was up in the attic looking for game systems that I couldn't remember if they were still there or not. So under all the filth and boxes I found soome great stuff that I had thought we had yard saled a long time ago!

A turbografx with bonk 1, bonk 2 bomberman 93, air zonk and tv sports hockey.

A complete final fantasy 1 for nes :)

Zelda 1 and 2 for NES, A boy and his blob, some other junky nes carts, a nes advantage.

An atari 2600 light 6 switch, a 7800. About 10 carts

A ton of Vic-20 carts.

For SNES - uniracers actraiser and a game genie!

So can you guess where every dollar I made went when I was a kid?

So the moral of this story is, check the parents attic for goodies! Who knows, you might have forgotten something! Now I need to figure out how to get the smell of smoke out of this stuff...

Thats a nice find. It goes to show that helping out the folks can bring some good. ;)

I know for a fact that my NES and 2600 were sold in garage sales. The best part was that my mom forgot she had squirelled the boxes for the systems away in a back closet. I found the boxes years later when I was getting back into gaming. Man I love having system boxes. :)

See, this should give everyone at least one good reason to go home and see your family this holiday season! While your mom is making you a to-go take home goodie plate, sneak on out to the attic and look around for any lost treasures that might have been nestled away for a long winter's nap.

Nice find. I still live at home so there is nothing good in my attic that I don't already know about. And since I collect games it will all come with me next summer.

Well, since I bought all the stuff back in the day, it wasn't exactly free, but I was still very happy to find that stuff. I am also convinced that there is a toaster NES up there somewhere. It is the gaming gods way of rewarding me for working 12 hour days today, tomorow and saturday moving by parents' buisness.

The also smiled upon me by the fact I remembered to set my snipe program up before I left, and I picked up some choice stuff on the cheap :)

Cool...........

My wife has a Co-worker who has "boxed" Vectrex up in her Attic..
The woman knows nothing about gaming but knows she has a Vectrex "thing" in it's box in her Attic..(She says looks like a TV)

I'm hoping someday she wants to clear out the attic and thinks of giving it to my wife since she knows I'm a gamer/collector..:)

i know my parents wouldn't have games, because when i was little we traded them towards the new systems..and yeah i do regret it now...but ive searched for boxes...i always took good care of the system boxes and hopd they'd be up there.. but alas...they most likely through them out...and i scolded them :P if they through the boxes i have up there now...out...heads will roll...im saving them for when i have room in my game area to put on display
