anyone rember those older screenshots of mario for the DS? isnt the ds release of mario 64? what are those older screenshots of? did i miss something?

You might be referring to the "New Super Mario Bros. (working title)" that is also in development to be released for the Nintendo DS. That game is a sidescrolling adventure like the Mario Bros. games of past (SMB3, SMW, Yada yafa <--Seinfeld on DVD)

I'm just assuming that's what you are talking about. Your messagfe is a little vague, since you ask if we remember the screenshots, but you don't describe the screenshots at all. People could be asses and just answer that they have seen lots of screenshots of mario for the DS...the same game that's out or it now :P

I'm not quite sure what you're asking, but I think you might be thinking of "NEW Super Mario Bros.", which is going to be a traditional 2-D sidescroller. No release date for that has been set, but probably sometime next year.
