The DP Wire is up and running with our 5th issue being released tomorrow, but we're not satisfied and we need your help.
What else would you like to see in the Wire?
Do you have an idea for a new column or maybe just know of something that you want to see, but we aren't including (yet)?
Let us know! All suggestions will be seriously considered. :)

Maybe a column of Nintendo's lawsuit on counterfiet games being sold.

An article that discussed only the DS! :)
And porn.

What about collecting tips or a few tips from other DP members for a popular or other game(s)?

How about a "Lost gem of the week" article reviewing an awesome game that no one's really heard of. That sounds like a good idea to me.

How about a humorous game walkthrough? You know, one done with a sense of attitude and pokes fun at whatever it can. Informative and jocose. :)

There was a news article in the last issue about those counterfeit joysticks in the last issue of the Wire. Is this what you are referring to, or is it something different?

Great ideas. We may use a few of those.

What kind of discussions? If you could, please explain more what you have in mind.

That has potential. Thanks!

Our Game Spotlight has been attempting to do this. We're in the process of switching it to a review column, instead of just a highlight of a particular game. Last issue we reviewed Taiko Drum Master and this issue has another game that was released under the radar. What game you ask? Why, you'll just have to read tomorrow's issue. :)

That could be good as well. Only potential hangup I see is that the Wire comes out every two weeks, so that would be a lot of work. I'm pretty sure that the Wire Staff doesn't have the time to devote to a project of that size.
Keep them coming guys! This is great. We're looking for ideas on one-time columns and feature columns that will run in every issue. :)

A really simple idea would be to have a "Feature" of the week, where you feature a particular system/game/game series/manufacturer/developer/website/Room of Doom/ etc.
All you can do is pull pictures or reviews from within DP from the archives and post em in their own section
Little work, can be informative, humourous, and nostalgic for some people.

I personally would like a review column for bargain bin games. It could be called, "Cheap Thrills" 8-)

No, I had no idea. I guess I should learn some stuff before contributing my two cents.

how about a section of pics of game gatherings? I would love a section in which people could send in pics of parties focused on playing games. It could be cool.....

I've said this before, but please lose the blue links on black background. It's very hard for those of us with less than perfect eyesight to read them.
Not a content issue, as the content is pretty boss. Just a useability issue. :)

I see no blue links. Weird.
I'm reading the Wire using The Bat, version 1.60h.
Have you tried viewing the message in a different client ?

This is a compatability issue with different email providers, and there is no workaround other than changing the entire color schema to compensate.

That actually sounds like something that could be fixed i the clients settings... have you looked for an option for link colors? A lot default to blue for whatever reason.

i like this idea
maybe you could just talk about games that cost less than $10.00 or $20.00. give them a review (a an actual score and then a score that factors in value/cost), info on where to find the game/ how rare it is.

random reviews chosen by the readers in a poll from the previous issue and the winning one gets reviewed
