This is a super rad PC fighting game that you should all try out because it is so rad. And it's free!
It reminds me of Pocket Fighter because the characters change costumes during attacks, but it plays more like a serious fighting game. Combos, special moves, super moves, desperation moves, and even a dust-like move that never works right.
The game isn't perfect, but considering they made it with Enterbrains Fighter maker program on PC, it's very very good. There's a huge selection of characters too, though it looks like some were drawn by different people. Some characters are crisp and some look like they were made in MS Paint. Some characters have really smooth animation and others are jerky. It's not that noticable because the game is so fast.
The game is full of anime and game refrences too! All of the characters are either cute cosplay girls or freaky otakus who change into different costumes and do moves ripped straight from anime and other games. IT HAS MARIO DOING ALL OF RYU'S MOVES WITH THE EXACT SAME VOICE! only instead of shooting ryus fireball he shoots his own.
I don't want to spoil everything, but I'll list a couple anime and game refrences and cameos I saw.
Anime- Excel Saga, Evangalion, .Hack, Gundam, Chobits
Game- Onimusha, Devil May Cry, Final Fantasy, MegaMan
The game plays very well. Very professional for a fan made game. Even the music is good, though I don't think it's all original. I know the character select song isn't original.
It's a 200+mb download so it might take a little while. Also, the installation needs a password. The password is "http://www.fkdigital.net" WITHOUT QUOTES!
Protip: In the control menu, it's set up in the 6 button style, but you only use 4 buttons
