Just picked this up today:

http://209.122.187.156:8082/videopinball.jpg

I'm looking for a verification of it's Ac adapter requirements. I'm leaning towards the same as the Atari VCS, but I am trying NOTHING until I know for sure. (it did not come with an adapter) A Google search yielded me no technical info.

Anyone know "for sure"?

I will now go check it out, and maybe it's specs are hidden on the unit somewhere.

Thanks!

Closest thing to an answer I've found:

Nothing on the deck itself. The above is quite promising though. Feeling of boldness growing....

Yes it is the same as the VCS, you won't do any damage.

It works great! This is a funky little unit! The paddle was "freewheeling", but I managed to fix that, and the jitter.

Many great variations on this thing, notably Pinball, and Breakout. It's in colour, and all sound emanates from the deck itself, like my Coleco Telstar Arcade.

A great little find for only $12CDN! This one shall have a place of honour on the shelves! I'm gonna need more shelves soon... @_@

Yep, I grew up on the Video Pinball unit. There's a whole lot of fun to be had in there. Congrats, enjoy it.

Sir, lest anyone think that this unit includes an actual silver ball, forces compel me to say that it does not.

two things - the paddle is loose and wobbling around like it is not tightly attached. Also, the power button needs to be held down for the unit to stay on. I can't tell how that switch is supposed to work. Does anyone know how to fix these things? thanks!

Someone bumped the old thread but:

Did you ever find out what it uses..?

Just yesterday I was talking about this such Video Pinball with my dad over the phone.
I have one that I bought in the box and I've stuck the AC adapter with a ton of others in a box..So I need to know myself which one it uses..

I forgot all about it taking Batteries.

I've been trying to get my Dad one on Ebay but I haven't yet.
It's either the machine is a bit trashed/not tested or I'm outbid..
I need something I don't have to fix, that works for him..
How do you explain to your dad that the item you bought for him off ebay doesn't work when you get it..

He wants to borrow mine..But in all honesty I don't have the heart to ask for it back so it would be like giving mine to him..and it's part of my console collection..

So I need to find him one..(eventually)
