Here is a link to a HUGE Sony PSP... answers many questions etc, so you guys can get the real facts and not speculation.
http://www.psinext.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=3777
Also check out the pics comparing the size of the GBA to the PSP... the screen is soo much larger than both the GBA and the DS... yet the system is hardly even larger than both. (unless you count the GBA Sp).
Also look on the specs for battery life... as what affects it etc... this should kill the "only 2hrs of game play" argument to rest.
Check the link out... it's very informative.

That FAQ was great. Very cool pics. BUT, it was on a playstation fan website.

The background for that page reminds me of my Macintosh. *Nostalgia brain burn*
Anyhow, looks like a pretty straightforward FAQ, and the page loaded fast. So....good stuff.

I don't think so... it was on a forum dedicated to PSP... but this whole web site is dedicated to electronics in general and not to anything specific.

That note didn't make sense anyway.
That'd be like saying this: OMG the screenshot of the Declaration of Independence was cool...>BUT it was on an American website

Out of everything on this FAQ, this interested me most....
Will the PSP's screen be protected?
Yes, it is covered by hard coating. Apparently, this is basically indestructible. Journalists tried to scratch it with keys, steel wool and permanent marker pens. Nothing made a scratch, and the journalist could just wipe off the permanent marker pen without any problems. It took a hard ram with a knife to scratch it.
VERY nice, I'm glad to see the screen will be protected.
the 179.99 price isnt bad either.
Maybe have to get one of these too. ;)

The one thing I REALLY REALLY don't like is the ablility to download games. Your basically paying money for data, which I don't like. If downloading games becomes popular, say goodbye to game collecting.

My GBA would get scratched by simply putting it in a pants pocket with coins... never made me happy at all.

That finally seems to explain to me why the PSP doesn't have any sort of screen protection....
As for the entire FAQ though, it seems to be built on data collected from various sources. I'm pretty sure that most of them are from other sources rumors.
The battery life thing doesn't put the "only 2hrs of game play" argument to rest, simply because there were people at Sony that claimed that number and said that developers would have to be responsible about what sort of games they made and how much it used the processor. As I've said before, that seems to me to be a very strange stance. If you're taking an average between playing a non-graphically intense game vs. Ridge Racer for instance, you probably will get eight hours with one vs. two with the other -- making for an average of four hours.
