It looks like your average Famiclone, so I have no idea what the $1,000 price tag is for. Although I have never seen one like this before, just maybe it is rare.

no ide why the seller asking that price as it wouldn't be too hard to get one in Korea...

Yeah, it says "SuperCom X," and it's in Korean. The black label says "WorldCom X." I've seen a few when I was over in Korea, it's their homemade version of a Famicom.
They have an exact replica of a Famicom called the Comboy, but we'll probably never see that here.
