I know of lots of good specialized gaming sites, like this one or RPGamer, but no good ones that cover current games as a whole. Where do you go when you want to hear about new releases?

I go to the big pro sites that I often despise. They get a lot of perks that fansites do not. Such as exclusive screenshots, movies, and play time. The reviews don't mean much to me. I go for solid facts more than anything else. Their opinions matter not to this gamer.

IGN, just because I'm used to it.
TeamXbox, for the forums.
N-Sider (and IGN Cube enhanced by N-sider) for its articles that almost make you hate your love for Nintendo

Heh...

The GOAT Store, LLC of course ;) - http://www.goatstore.com/

I also regularly frequent here and AtariAge, and I also haunt pretty much any and every message board that has anything to do with the Dreamcast homebrew scene.

Yep, I'm with videogameking26.

I likes this site and gamefaqs best.

I also visit IGN once every day or two and on even rarer occasions, gamespot. Mostly I just go to those guys for the reviews.

Hey All,
I sought of like Gamespot, and I think Digital Press and Atariage are good for their forums. Gamespot has got to be the best review site I've come across as they cover many platforms such as handhelds the the Neo Geo Pocket Color etc, plus the modern Next-Gen consoles and others.

GameFAQ is also a good one because is covers some diverse platforms, at least to the West, such as the Wonderswan Color/Crystal etc. and offers reviews and bulliten boards and stuff.

Nubian.

Mainly DigitalPress and AtariAge.

Once in a while Nintendo and GameFAQ's when I'm bored or just want more.

I really like crunkgames.com

Not updated very often, but they cover some cool stuff there. Other than that, I go to gameforms occasionally, nintendorks, ign, gamefaqs, http://www.lostlevels.org/ .

It's usually message boards for me, so:

www.neo-geo.com
www.the-nextlevel.com
here

When I want to know about a certain game, or look up reviews or what not, I usually check Ign, or Gamespot.

Too bad there aren't any English sites that cater exclusively to import games...

I find that this site is the only site that is intelligent....and busy!!! There's always something to post about and the threads get really fun to reply to. I also like to talk and read about the systems that John Q Public no longer gives a shit about. EVERY system seems to have a friendly home here. Go anywhere else and mention the N64.....and they'll ask you what planet you're from and why you even play that piece of shit kiddie system.

Once in a while I'll wonder what's new with the Cube and will hop onto PlanetGameCube or Nintendo Canada.

Once you've had a taste of DigitalPress it really IS hard to stomach other sites.

This is the only gaming site that I visit on a regular basis. I'll go check out gamefaqs if I'm stuck on a game, and I'll go to IGN if I want to read a "professional" review.

here.

gamespot for previews/screenshots and maybe a review (their reviews aren't toooo bad imo)

i actually hit up gamefaqs for reviews mostly tho. when i'm interested in a game, i always read the lowest scores first (to see what people DON"T like about the game), unless they give it a 1/10 or a 2/10, as those guys are just being gamefaqs peeps. i like reading reviews that regular people write. i also use gamefaqs to see what games where released for which systems, as they're fairly extensive (and often have links to screenshots, etc. some links even lead to dp :))
