I'm sure alot of you have seen those Neo-Geo Pocket cart only four packs that are popping up in stores.

Well, I was at a local Rhino yesterday browsing, when low and behold I found one that had Gal Fighter, Puzzle Link, Sonic, and Faseli.

Now last I checked, Faseli never made it out here. But the cart has a US copyright. So can anyone tell me if it was that SNK had carts made for a US release that are now just being cleared out, or is this cart a fluke that should have never been shipped out?

Yes, it is new stock that never got packaging. The carts were waiting for boxes and instructions when SNK pulled out of the US market.

Same for Last Blade (an awesome game by the way.) There may have been others.

Cheers

I have a copy of it too, but I don't think it is as great as a lot of people have made it out to be. For the "new" price though, I think it is definitely worth it.

Huh..I didn't know this game never came out here. I mean, they are so common on eBay, that I just figured it had to have been a domestic release! LOL

Well, I guess I can stop looking for a boxed copy now. :)

Well this thread was certainly helpful. Thanks.

There are a couple games I eventually want to pick up for the NGPC and Faseli was one of them. Thanks. (:

Faselei is a very good game I think. One of the rare games I actually wanted to finish in single-player. It has to be that good. ;) but they only come in clam shells if I remember right... no boxes. Oh well... guess that means collecting Japanese games. ;)

There is an english version that came boxed (in the clamshell style box), but it was only available in the UK and I believe limited to 5000 copies. This is easily my favorite NGPC game and one of the few that I played almost to the end!
