Metroid Haiku Contest

i don't know if anyone has posted about this already, i couldn't find anything with search. let me know if it's already been talked about.

Nintendo is holding a Metroid Haiku contest. grand prize is a tv and a GC with metroid and 4 wavebirds, runners up receive a gc, metroid and 2 wavebirds.

all you've gotta do is write a haiku and submit it to nintendo. here's the link:

To be fair, I actually tried to enjoy Metroid: bought the game, put in over 4 hours play time, but it was to no avail. Never played the sequels.

That's understandable. Metroid just isn't everyone's cup of tea, and as good as I thought the first one was, I won't deny that I'd probably get lost if I lacked a sufficient map to maneuver.

One more, then I'll probably run out of creative juices.

I'd suggest trying the Zero Mission remake, then. I enjoyed that MORE then original Metroid. LOL

Yeah, for anyone who just picked up the Metroid series, Zero Mission rules. However, if you were around back in the day, Metroid would have rocked your world then too. I didnt get the game at first, but I just kept plugging at it. Once I found a map, I was like..."Ohhhh! This game is HUGE...but I know where to go now."

Some don't like the original because it's "too hard." Once you get your weapons and energy, it's really a cakewalk.
