Hey! I just joined!! *congragulates self* I was curious if anyone around here was a huge fan of Vagrant Story? I'm currently enthralled with that game and i wondered if it was very long.

My opinion? Best RPG on the Playstation, and possibly the best game on the system. It's not very long compared to standard RPGs, but longer than a Resident Evil style game.

I'm happy to hear it, i think the style and the story of the game are amazing, though i've been stuck in the forest of snowflies, i think thats what its called, is there any hints or certain way of getting through it b/c i've been stuck in it for hours!!

love it! Got the Strategy Guide to go with the game too :)
One of my favourite games.
i wondered if it was very long.
You will want to play it through at least twice since you can't get 100% of the map on your first playthrough.

Check the amount of snowflies where you are, walk to another location, if there is more flies you are on the right track, if not go back.

Also, the flies seem to gather at the exit you should use for each screen.
Yeah, I love that game.
One of the best looking RPGs that Square ever did IMO. I found it to be not exactly easy.
I'd love to see a next gen sequel.

God I freaking love that game. Too bad the battle & combine systems are so convoluted. It really turns away all but the most hardcore, it seems. Anyway, I've heard that FFXII's battle system is supposed to resemble VS's, but the game keeps getting delayed. :angry: Makes me wonder if they're constantly retooling it to make sure it's user-friendly.

I still haven't gotten that game... even though Square Enix did re-release it in the PS1 Greatest Hits lineup. :(
Unfortunately, no one in Montreal seems to carry the GH version of that game. But I do intend on getting it one day...
