Wow, I haven't been this jazzed about an FPS release since Doom 1. I've played through the demo countless times now. The "S" control method (d-pad + stylus "mouse" aiming) is absolutely amazing. It's seriously the best and most fluid control I've ever seen in an FPS short of keyboard + mouse.

Any word on how many modes, levels, etc. will be in the final version? WHY MUST THIS BE A MAY RELEASE? AUGH. WANT NOW.

My girlfriend (who usually NEVER plays FPS's) was really good at the demo...in a few minutes getting used to the controls she was as good as I was at the game. She's also impatiently awaiting the release now too.

I agree with the "S" controls too, once you get used to it it ends up being easier to control then a lot of FPS's on consoles using a controller (in my opinion of course).

Definitely. It's freakishly intuitive. My first round in S mode, I did better than I was already doing in standard buttons-only mode. Especially for Morph Ball. That was a HUGE improvement.

yeah, this is an awesome game, especially for a demo. I'm on the same boat with you guys about S mode, great stuff. I can't wait to find out about the full game.

I hope that the full game supports 1 Game Card- Multiplayer. It made sense for the demo to require all players to have the card, b/c it com'es with the DS.

I don't see why it wouldn't, my co-workers and I play multiplayer with the demo and just one card everyday at "work"

Oh you can do multiplayer on 1 card with it?

Does it have everything that is offered if you play with 1 card in each system?

I'm trying to convince people at work to buy one too. :)

Well, now that I've got one, I like this. I DO NOT like the jumping. I keep flying all over the place because I just take the stylus off a tad and I put it back down without even thinkning about it. It's a little awkward to hold (how are you guys doing it by the way?) but the control scheme makes it worth it. Graphics are just incredible (video!!!) for a handheld and I can't way to see what developers can pull off when they finally learn this system fully.

Generally, I support the right side of the DS using a combination of my right hand's pinky finger and associated outer palm areas. Then my thumb and forefinger are free to manipulate the stylus as necessary.

Though I wish they had included fully customizable control. I would vastly prefer the R button for jumping as opposed to double-tapping.
