View Full Version : Yesterday's trip to Game Stop
Went to Funco and got Warriors of the Eternal Sun for $8, nothing special (other than completing my TSR-liscenced Genesis game collection LOL ). Paid for it with $16 of credit and got cash in change. Is that normal? In the past I've always got credit back. I mean, what's to stop you from bringing in 3 NES's, buying some Genny sports cart, and getting $89.75 back in cash?
Then on the way out I saw 5 Chrono Triggers. Didn't this game used to be rare?

That seems to be at the store's discreetion. One time I've gotten back as much as $10 in cash, and another time I got 89 cents in credit. I guess it depends on how busy they are and if the store salesperson would rather bother with a piece of paper of just hand you cash back and not deal with the signature and such.

It's not rare. There's a difference between rare and highly sought after. CT is quite popular and maany people aren't willing to sell so there isn't many copy floating around. I wouldn't but any CT from them as they most likely don't have the manual or box for it, and it's not worth $50 without the manual.
They were $30 actually. I never paid attention before, except to know that if I saw one for $5 at a flea market I should buy it. It was just weird to see 5 together when I've never seen one at all before, y'know?

I understand, I once saw Six Mega Man 6 carts in one gamestop, and a few dragon warrior 2 carts also. I remember when they wanted so much for SNES RPG's(No to say their prices aren't high now) they would always have them in stock.

I stoped by 3 GameStops today. They all didn't have any SNES/NES games. They are not stocking them anymore, They are not taking them anymore. ug. But that does not go for a few other GameStops.
