GMR reported this month (yeah I don't trust them all that much) that there is a new Lunar game in the works for the DS.
ANybody know anything about that?
We can hope and pray really hard with 10 toes and 10 fingers crossed. It's gotta have that Working Designs quality to it, though. I demand a hardcover bound manual, a making-of disc, standees and other stuff in a beautiful presentation box.....along with another of Mr Meston's kickass guidebooks.

Lunar 3 wouldn't be translated by WD. Lunar's development team is owned by Square Enix now.

If your talking about Gamearts. Square Enix only has a 15 percent share in the company, so I doubt that they would have to much of a say.

I can PROMISE you though that WD will be out of business by the time Lunar 3 is released in Japan. :(
Now, a spinoff for the DS, like we had for the GG and GBA? Defentily possible, and Ubi Soft would probaly bring it over to the States. For better or for worse. LOL

Creating a sequel for a portable system is the ultimate cop-out.

Even if you did read that I don't see it every really happening. I remember reading about gamearts and studio Alex possibly development Lunar 3 in the offical U.S dreamcast magazine way back in 99. As you can tell, nothing ever came of that. :(
