Any one having any problems opening any issues?

I don't know much about computers but a friend of mine tried
to save it to the hard drive and was unsuccessful
He says the file does not exsist
anyone else having any problems?
Would somebody who owns this disc please
try to open/print issue 9?
I would like to know what is wrong with my copy
thanks

I didn't see this the first time, T. I don't have a copy in front of me right now but I do have that issue available online if you'd like to download it (same for anyone else who wants to see a sample of a REALLY old issue of DP contained on the CD).

There's something strange about this file, however, I'm wondering if there's some correlation between this and the CD. Let me know if this works for you.

Upon clicking on the link in Explorer (under XP Pro), I get a "The file does not start with %pdf-" message. Even if I save the file first on my computer, it doesn't open.
When I tried on the Mac, under OS 9 and IE, I managed to download the link, but it froze Acrobat Reader.

I get the same "The file does not start with %pdf-" error message when attempting to open the file in Windows XP Professional, using the latest version of Acrobat (6.0.1) that I downloaded moments ago.

How's about this? The issue #9 PDF isn't even ON the CD I have. Maybe that's the problem then? It has all the other issues though.
Yea, I am getting the error message too.
What's so great about issue 9 that
somebody doesn't want us to see? :eek 2:
I smell a conspiracy LOL

I dunno, the file was corrupt. My local copy is fine, I've moved all of the media stuff to a new server, this should work!

And any idea why my CD is missing the file entirely Joe? :P

No idea, sorry.

Yay! It worked!!! That was great! Now, I wonder: do you still have the same anti-Mario opinion that you held back then, Joe? Did your opinion of Super Star Wars change with time?
It was weird to see familiar names in there too...
Anyway, I'm looking forward to receiving my copy of the CD (hint, hint...).
Thanks a lot!
I just finished printing out the issue
I appreciate you helping me out
